Stub Hub cutoff time

LouisEly
Can't find any info on when that is for the Brewers. For the Dodgers it is 6 hours before game time, but my understanding is that each team sets their own. At 5:45PM today the app had no listing for tonight's game. Anyone know?

I thought it was 2 or 3 hours before game time. I haven't purchased off of Stub Hub in a long time though.

A quick google search brought up this:

How does Stub Hub work? If they do not resell the tickets can they just cash them in to the Brewers and get tickets for games later in the season?

I have checked Stub Hub to try and get seats last minute for a non-sellout game and they never seem to come down as game time approaches. My only assumption is that there is a deal with the team that Stub Hub can cash those tickets out after the fact.

Tickets will only come down if the people who own the tickets are actively managing the listing close to game time. If people don't have time to do it or forget, they won't come down.

I think season ticket holders can cash them in for a non-sellout game later in the year, but the seats won't be as good as the ones they have (unless they are terrace level). I think they can only get terrace level seats, or a certain level below the seats they have.

Stub hub does not own the tickets. I also think it's 2 hours before the game. A season ticket holder can exchange the ticket for a Monday through Thursday game for $1 per ticket. I think the Brewers have some of their tickets on also. I had to buy one for my daughter a couple weeks back and there were rows of tickets availae in the 408 section higher up. Who would have that many season tickets there.

If a season ticket holder cashes in tickets after the game date on the tickets, they're limited to terrace reserved. If you exchange before the game date, you can get seats on the level your usual seats are in (space permitting).

And yeah, the exchanges are limited to mostly Monday-Thursday games and an occasional Friday or Saturday. They don't want you to be able to stock up on all-fan giveaways and the like. Having said that, when we asked to swap some seats last September, our ticket rep gave us a bit more leeway because there were so few exchange options left. After the way 2015 has gone, I'd like to think they'd be similarly cool about that if needed.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
