Is lambeau leap dead now?

Recommended Posts

It's working for me now. It took a couple of days for the fix to propagate. When the fix takes may vary by provider. I was able to get in with a proxy before I was able to directly load the site.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Based on a thread posted in Off Topic, it appears that some providers still need to catch up.

If you're still seeing the message saying that the domain has expired, you could try flushing your DNS cache per directions on this page:

http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Flush_DNS

It doesn't include directions for flushing DNS in Windows 10 or OS X Yosemite 10.10.4. Directions for Yosemite 10.10.4 are included on this page:

http://osxdaily.com/2014/11/20/flush-dns-cache-mac-os-x/

If flushing DNS doesn't help, in the short term, you could try accessing LL via this proxy site:

Quite honestly would be better off having lambeau leap as a separate forum here as there really isn't enough activity to justify another site. If the forums were here I imagine there would be more posts and input from regulars here.

Actually, I came here thinking the same thing... LL.net had a decent following, but I think I have 90% of the posts now.

Perhaps we could make a "new wing" of BF.net for other Wisconsin sports? So Bucks, Badgers, Packers, Admirals, Panthers, Phoenix, etc.. could be discussed there?

I like the idea of creating a new wing on brewerfan for WI sports- and a subforum for each one. I think that would be well frequented. I just came across LL.com for the first time in January after trying to find a similar, knowledgeable, respectful approach to the packers as I get here at bf. I was delighted to find it and see its relation to this site, as during the season- I would have had lots of comments/content to contribute. however, was equally dismayed to find such few posters. it would be nice to just have everything right here, personally. but, will start to add traffic to Lambeauleap in the mean time and see what happens.

They're separate logins, so you'll need to sign up. You can use the same username if you'd like. Almost all of our members choose to do that.

Once you create your account, an administrator will approve posting access. For current members, that's just a rubber-stamp thing. We do more extensive screening for people we don't know.

Why were the different Packers topics grouped into one as there was discussion with each of them? It is not like there is a ton of activity on the off topic section and when Packers discussion was moved there from Lambeau Leap it was noted that new topics for the Packers/Bucks/Badgers could be created as needed.
