Offical ColbyJack Lovefest thread

I just wanted to give my sincere thanks to our Patrick Ebert for all the hard work he's done leading up to the draft, and all the hard work he'll be involved with during the post-draft coverage.

Brewerfan.net has been blessed with the kind of all-inclusive draft coverage that most sites charge money for. I can't emphasize enough how lucky we are to have a guy of Patrick's caliber, who doubles as our graphic artist to boot.

Thanks again, Patrick, and to everyone else, we at Brewerfan.net are committed to continuing and expanding our draft coverage, and keeping it free.

Thanks for the thread Brian and of course thanks to colby. BFN's depth of information on the minors and the draft is what attracted me to this site in the first place and it's what has kept me coming here for my daily baseball fix.

i agree, since its not easy to follow amatuer baseball in Milwaukee, Patrick has been invaluable in getting me up for today. Its no fun to follow the draft when you don't know anything about the player we took in round 1.

Good stuff Patrick. Though I am not into the draft as much as most people that will be watching today, I appreciate all the work that gets done in preperation. If only the draft was tomorrow so us BF.netters softball team had one more day to shine for the teams looking to add some age to their system.

The fact that fans of other teams come here for their draft coverage is a testament to the effort Patrick puts into this forum. We are lucky to have him.

It was pretty fun after the Brewers postgame last week XM runs extended promo's and they ran about 2-3 minutes of his interview. I'm glad to see all his hardwork was rewarded when he got the job with Perfect Game

Because I'm in a hurry, Colby just flat out owns.

The only problem with Colby's information....it allows me to know so much information about the players I wish we would draft (LHP and non-High Schoolers need not apply for our first round pick).

I can't say enough about the good work Patrick does putting together profiles, and as an ongoing resource in this forum.

Thanks Patrick, you've made he draft enjoyable for me, something I never thought possible. Its amazing to see guys that I saw drafted like Fielder, Weeks, Braun, Hardy, and Gwynn work there way steadily to the minors and make all those "dream lineups" I was putting together in 2003 a reality. Ok maybe my rotation looked like Jones, Parra, Neugebauer, Sheets and Luis Martinez, but lets not dwell on that. Here's to another draft that produces at least one Major League All Star Talent.

eh, he's okay

No seriously, awesome job with this. I read the info but I don't post much in this forum. Hope today is another stepping stone into a bright Brewers future!

I definitely have a man-crush on ColbyJack. In three or four years I went from knowing nothing about the MLB Draft to reading everything I can find about it (starting of course with brewerfan.net), and that's only because I found his stuff here.

Thanks a lot for the kind words everyone, and thanks in advance to everyone for their efforts gathering information on the players that will end up being selected.

And if Aumont is the pick, remember, it's not my fault http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif .
