Tulo traded to Bluejays

Per Jon Heyman

Not sure what the return is.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

If there is, I would guess it's someone willing to take an expensive SS and trade a pitcher... How about the Padres flipping Shields for Reyes here. I have a hard time imagining the third team, if there is one, wouldn't be getting Reyes.

I have no idea what Toronto is doing here. Damaged goods playing on turf, and not in Colorado, picked up $50M or so in salary, and gave up a lot.

I wonder if there is an equal package out there for Braun..............

Terrible trade for the Jays. They have an outside shot at the WC, and Tulo is a home/road split monster. Over his career, he OPS's .135 points higher at home. His splits aren't as bad this year, but generally he splits home/road pretty badly.

Also, they're not exactly a 'young' team, so this isn't a move for the future. I don't get it.
