The bad news is that its a strikeout for Demi. The good news is that VIDEO exists of the at-bat in its entirety.

EDIT: Just realized there is some NSFW language towards the end of the video.

We can add to that list these additional videos by Eric Longenhagen, you may wish to add his YouTube page to your favorites, particularly if you have interest across the baseball prospect landscape, not just the Brewers.

This Trent Clark video from Sunday includes his swing on what would become a triple -- in fact, Eric has video of this go-ahead game-winning sequence from the 8th inning of Sunday's game:

Trent Clark triples (3) on a fly ball to left fielder Angelo Amendolare.

Manatees take the suspended game 4-2. Tremendous job by Stephen Peterson in the spot long relief of Cy Sneed. Taylor Brennan's two run double in the 6th gave the Manatees the lead and a long 2 run homer by Garrett Cooper gave them a 3 run cushion. Trevor Seidenberger and Preston Gainey worked in the last 3 innings. I will have the full link report later.

Shaky first half in the books for inconsistent Brewers

Ryan Collingwood, Helena Independent Record

It was just ten days ago when the Helena Brewers hit the .500 mark after Jake Gatewood's three-run, walk-off homer downed the Orem Owlz 4-3 in a Saturday afternoon tilt at Kindrick Legion Field.

That swing of the bat -- capping off a stretch that saw the Brewers win 10 of 16 games while winning the season series against the South Division leaders -- was the apex of the their first half of Pioneer League play.

Monday, however, as the first of half of Pioneer League concluded with a slew of rain-caused cancellations, the Brewers (16-20) are sitting in the North Division cellar. The same club that hasn't boasted a winning record since 2013 when it advanced to the championship series.

When the Brewers started their 2015 campaign with a 3-8 mark back in June, though, it evoked memories of its 2014 struggles. Third-year manager Tony Diggs, whose team is 12-12 this July, believes he has a solid group that just hasn't been very consistent.

"We've been flirting with over .500 for a while," Diggs said. "But we just haven't been able to get over the hump. It can be one of those things where you can put things together in all three facets, then there's other times we struggle and aren't very consistent."

The Milwaukee rookie affiliate is just 2-6 since it got back to the .500 mark. A recent injury bug that hit a pair of the top prospects in the organization in that span hasn't helped.

Monte Harrison, the 50th overall pick in the 2014 MLB Draft, broke his tibia and dislocated his left fibula while rounding third base last Tuesday and is now out for the season. He was having the most productive month of his career, too, hitting after hitting .400 in the month of July with a team-leading 14 stolen bases.

The shortstop Gatewood, the Brewers' first pick in the 2014 MLB Draft, was hit by a pitch on Thursday night and sat out the next couple of games.

The Helena Brewers have also had six players promoted during the first half, which Diggs dubbed as "a little more than usual." Five -- sure-fire hitters Blake Allemand, a shortstop, and utility man Luis Aviles, speedy base-runner Omar Cotto and pitchers Cody Ponce and David Carver -- were sent to the Single A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Catcher Dustin Houle, who was on the team for all of two weeks after injury rehab in the Arizona League, was sent to the Double A Brevard County Manatees in Florida.

"You obviously like to keep your core players," Diggs said. "But the idea is to develop them. So if there is a need [on Milwaukee's organization] team above of us or below us, we need to accommodate them. On the plus side of that, though, it lets a guy come up here [from AZL] and get the chance to prove himself."

The Brewers are leading the Pioneer League in steals once again with 80 thefts on the year. That and his team's defense in the field is what has impressed Diggs the most as the team heads into the rookie league and Single A All-Star break. The Single A Northwest League and Pioneer League's best square off in an All-Star game on Aug. 4 at Avista Stadium in Spokane, Washington.

Helena had a combined 29 errors in 36 games.

"I've been impressed with our defense and the bats have been solid," Diggs said. "Our pitching is what's been up and down."

The Brewers rank last in all over the Pioneer League in batting average (.263) and are second-to-last in ERA (6.01). Jordan Yamamoto leads the league in strikeouts with 39 in 38 innings.

Trio of Brewers named All-Stars

The Northwest League vs. Pioneer League All-Star Game features three selections from the Brewers. Only two of them, however, are able to play.

Harrison, out for the season due to his broken leg, was selected along with pitchers Christian Trent (2-1, 1 save, 4.18 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, three walks) and Marcos Diplan (2-1, 3.81 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, 28 strikeouts).

The game begins at 7:30 p.m. PST, following the home run derby set for 5:30 p.m.

Timely Hitting, Bullpen Carry Manatees to Game One Triumph

All Four Manatee Runs Score With Two Out

By Jerry Durney / Brevard County Manatees

Brevard County reliever Stephen Peterson earned his third win of the season in game one of Monday's doubleheader. (Dennis Greenblatt/Hawk-Eye Sports Photography)

Viera, Fla. - After heavy rain suspended the action on Sunday night, the Brevard County Manatees (14-14, 43-54 overall) made the most of their opportunities in a 4-2 win over the Palm Beach Cardinals (20-9, 52-47) in the completed game on Monday at Space Coast Stadium.

The Cardinals took the lead in the top of the third against Stephen Peterson, who took over for Sunday's starting pitcher, Cy Sneed. The inning would be led off by an infield single for Derek Gibson, who then moved up to second on a sacrifice bunt by Robelys Reyes. C.J. McElroy followed with an opposite-field base hit into right but Gibson was held up at third. He would not have to wait long as Danny Diekroeger's sacrifice fly to center would allow him to sprint home with the game's first run.

That margin would stand until a Manatee rally came with two out in the bottom of the sixth against Cardinal reliever Blake McKnight, who had taken over for Sunday starter Rob Kaminsky. Clint Coulter reached after being hit by a McKnight pitch, then advanced another 90 feet on a Garrett Cooper single. Palm Beach would call upon Silfredo Garcia to retire Taylor Brennan but Brennan would respond clubbing a two-run double over Collin Radack's head in left field to put Brevard County ahead.

The insurance would come in the bottom of the eighth, once again with two out. Omar Garcia would lead off the inning with an infield single and then promptly took second for his 39th stolen base of the season. Chris McFarland moved Garcia to third on a sacrifice bunt and following a Coulter strikeout, Cooper launched a 422-foot two-run homer over the berm in left field.

Preston Gainey gave up a two-out RBI double to Carson Kelly in the top of the ninth but that's as close as the Cardinals would come.

Peterson earned his third win of the season by giving up one run on four hits in four and one-third innings of work.

Offensively, Cooper extended his streak of consecutive games with a hit to 11 by going three-for-four at the plate. Brennan, who recorded his 20th double of the season and Garcia recorded multi-hit games.

Brevard County Box Score

The bullpen came through for the Manatees. Rough night at the plate for Clint Coulter. He hit into a double play with the bases loaded and one out to end the 3rd. He also struck out with a man on 3rd and one out in the eighth before Garrett Cooper redeemed the situation with a home run. Garrett Cooper now up to .294 batting average. He and Taylor Brennan have 46 RBIs on the year and Clint Coulter 45.

It was Cooper's sixth home run of the season and second of the doubleheader. Cooper also extended his hitting streak to 12 games.

Eighth-Inning Rally Sparks Sox Comeback Win

Late Herrera and Rogers RBIs Save Roenicke from Tough-Luck Loss

By Ed Pearsall / Colorado Springs Sky Sox

Elian Herrera's second hit of the night knotted the ballgame at one in the eighth in the Sox eventual 2-1 win. (File photo from prior game by Paat Kelly)

The Sky Sox salvaged the final game of their four-game set with the Omaha Storm Chasers with a dramatic 2-1 come-from-behind victory before a Monday night crowd of 3,057 at Werner Park.

Sox starter Josh Roenicke gave his squad just what they needed coming off of three straight losses in Omaha, holding the potent Storm Chasers offense to just one run on six hits and two walks over 5.2 innings of work. The lone blemish on the right-hander's evening came in the second when former big league first baseman Casey Kotchman drove home Jose Martinez with a one-out RBI single for the game's first run.

Omaha's 1-0 lead would stand until the eighth as righty Yohan Pino held the Sox offense scoreless through 6.2 innings of work, allowing just three hits and a walk while striking out five in an excellent performance.

Michael Kirkman (3-1, 3.18) and Rob Wooten (H, 4) kept Omaha off the board for 2.1 perfect frames in relief of Roenicke to keep Colorado Springs within a run of tying it up late.

Reliever Casey Coleman (2-3, 4.42) got the final out of the seventh before coming back out for the top of the eighth. After being held to just three hits through seven, the Sox offense broke out against the Storm Chasers right-hander to double their hit total in the eighth. Yadiel Rivera led off the frame with a base knock before coming around to score the equalizer on a one-out Elian Herrera RBI single. Logan Schafer followed with a fly out to center, bringing Jason Rogers to the plate in a pivotal, two-out situation. The slugging first baseman doubled on a ball that got by left fielder Brett Eibner, plating Herrera with the go-ahead run. Rogers would be thrown out at third trying to stretch the knock to a triple, ending the inning with Colorado Springs now leading 2-1.

After an uneventful inning of play, Omaha came to the plate in the ninth looking to, at the very least, send the game into extras. Jaye Chapman would close the door however, walking just one batter in a scoreless effort to lock down the exciting 2-1 victory for the Sox. Chapman's eighth save of the season helped the Sox improve to 41-59 in 2015 as Omaha fell to 58-45.

After sweeping them in their last visit, the Sox travel to New Orleans to take on the Zephyrs in the first of a four-game set on Tuesday. Hiram Burgos (2-2, 3.66) will look to make it two-in-a-row for Colorado Springs as he matches up against top Marlins prospect Adam Conley (8-3, 2.58) with first pitch set for 5:00 PM MDT (6:00 Central) at Zephyr Field.
