Oh man that ain't good at all....hopefully it isn't serious, if it is: can always pick up his option for 2016 & trade him in the offseason though

Trade value will be much lower them though. Inflated value mid season in a weak market plus a year more of control.

You are correct. Still, a player like Lind should land at least a fairly strong return in the offseason (i.e. not all is lost)

Now if Parra gets injured...that would be a minor disaster. If Lind is out past the deadline they need to just prepare to trade Parra sooner rather than later.

I think I mentioned last week that we should be trading Lind before his back acts up. Yup.

But all is not lost of he's back on the field by Tuesday. And AL teams may be slightly less worried if they are planning on giving him DH time.

Well since his back has been bothering him for over a week even then it would have been the same problem. He would have went for a physical and not come out well.

His back has been bothering him for a number of years. Any team that trades for him (Brewers included) are going to have to know that his back is a constant risk. It's also been a manageable risk at least in the recent past. If he shows that he can at least swing without discomfort, his value won't be too impinged by this.

So how long are we going to play without a 1B when we have 13 pitchers and Rogers raking in AAA?

Lind available to PH tonight and Peterson is playing 1B tonight who has hit very well this season. No reason to make a move unless Lind will be out for awhile.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
