Khris Davis leading off is .... interesting

 

Not as interesting as Jimmy Rollins and his .266 OBP leading off for the Dodgers. Don Mattingly is lucky his team can just buy really good players because he seems really stupid.

I don't have the link, but on a recent rundown of possible trade targets Lohse showed up as possible on multiple teams. Given his track record I don't think he'd have to string together that many solid starts for a team who is looking for a veteran presence, but doesn't want to give up much in the way of prospects pick him for a throw-in and maybe splitting the cost of his remaining salary. The Astros for example might really want a veteran for the sake of veteranness and the ability to say they made a move without really disrupting their depth of young guys.
