Arizona 5

Denson is repeating that level though, and has been missed a lot of games due to injury. I'm not giving up on him, as the organization is largely void of power these days. But as you said, Perry is hitting right out of the gate which always gets my attention. May mean nothing, I just like to see guys break out the first year they're promoted to the next level. Even when that next level is the first level of pro ball.

Of the Arizona guys, Clark and Lara really excite me. Clark just seems like such an advanced hitter. That's something we really needed in the org. I love seeing that exceptional plate discipline at such a young age. Lara just seems ooze ability - and only 17. Awesome. He's a true power bat.

Segovia is interesting, but his stats say singles hitter, which is limiting.

Perry is fascinating, but he's nothing if he doesn't control his weight. Gotta love his walk rate and hitting so far, but there is a huge obstacle he needs to overcome.

So for me, Clark and Lara are the guys to really get excited about.

Another guy in AZ that I was VERY high one when the brewers drafted him is Dustin Houle. Hes definitely old for the league at this point, but maybe not necessarily in baseball years as hes dealt with injuries the last 2 seasons. He's still young, hes actually starting to hit a bit and he plays catcher. Hes a guy to watch since he might be the brewers best catching prospect in the system as it stands today.
