Milwaukee Bucks 2015 - 2016

BrewBalls

If and when it actually gets to a vote (hopefully today, fingers crossed), I'd be very surprised if it failed. It's been stated numerous times they wouldn't bring it to vote unless they were pretty confident it would pass.

It's mainly just politics at this time. The republicans made concessions (specifically the Bucks agreeing to a ticket surcharge) that will go directly to the debt payoff for Milwaukee. That seemed to be the turning point for a few of the Democrats to swing the in favor of the vote.

At this point, the Senate session is underway and a few of them are arguing against it - which to me is mainly just grandstanding to allow the politicians that are staunch "no" to get their thoughts out and to prove to their constituents that they did what they could. As long as the vote happens today or tomorrow - it should pass. If it's after that, things get dicey as a strong "yes" vote is leaving the Senate on Friday and being replaced by a strong "no".

Assuming it passes the Senate, the only real obstacle left is the Assembly - which could be close, but the general consensus from what I saw was that it should ultimately pass there.

Markieff Morris is an interesting option. He could play alongside either Jabari or Giannis and would give us another proven scorer coming off the bench. He can stretch the floor (40% 3FG% at Kanses), is a solid rebounder and can play next to either Parker or Giannis which gives Kidd more rotation options. The major red flag is his current legal troubles stemming from he and his brother beating up some guy. He will make $8MM/per the next four years (which is a steal based on his production) and could be another young piece to add to our core. We could offer up Mayo and one of our newly acquired protected 2nd Rd picks from Dallas or Washington. I would still look to add another wing like McDaniels for the Room Exception.

MCW/Vasquez/Ennis

Middleton/Bayless/Vaughn

Giannis/Inglis/McDaniels

Parker/Morris/JOB

Monroe/Henson/Plumlee

This roster would make the Bucks a top 4 team in the East.

I have watched very little of the bucks summer league, but the 2 things i took away is that Vaughn could be a decent player but not this season and Inglis is not in basketball shape. I like the Idea of bringing in KJ McDaniels as a backup 3.

And it's sounding like Jabari won't be ready for the beginning of the season. That Dudley trade is making less and less sense. Would've loved to see Perry Jones from OKC.

I liked what I see from Vaughn so far, he might get thrown in the fire a bit if Parker is out and someone else goes down.

Vaughn's passing and vision is much better than I expected. I hope they can reign in his chucker tendencies. If so he could be a very nice asset on offense.

this is a leaked document of new uniforms for next season. Its pretty hard to see how they look, but it appears to be just a bucks head on the chest. I'll have to see it closer but I do not think i am a fan.

Anyone not a fan of those is 10 years old or a moron...those are incredible compared to what has been usual uniform choice over last decade

I dont like the alternate. I am not a moron. I am also not 10.

I love the home and roads. I want to wait to see a better image of the alternates, but from the blurry image that is posted, i do not think I will like them and would have preferred that they simply had blue / cream alternates.

molitorfan, the reason is that I love the classic look of the main jerseys. I do not like the trend of just putting a logo on the chest of the jersey (golden state). The green and whites had a modern yet classic look. I think everyone should hold off judgement until they are revealed and you can see a clear picture. I wonder if that will be tonight at the open house.

Understood....I think the entire cadre of the new line is outstanding

i don't think there is a soul who thinks that they entire uniform package isn't light years better than everything they had since 1993, no matter how the alternates look. Without knowing your age, I think in general older people will prefer the white and greens, while younger people would prefer the black ones. just a guess.

I also love the new home and away jerseys. My earlier post was in reference to the black alternate. There was such a heavy focus on the use of cream as an ode to Cream City and they chose to go with a black alternate. Also, it seems like as they are promoting the Bucks being Wisconsin's team, it would have been an ideal time to use the state logo on a jersey.

Not a terrible look, just not what I would've chosen.

patrickgpe, depending on what "older" means, I probably blow away your theory.

I'm 40 and from the little bit I see in the picture, I like the black better. I'm not a fan of the cream. As an accent, it would be ok, but its too much now. The purple grew on me and the cream might also. Both are way better than the red (ugh!).

As far as logos go, I prefer the "muscle buck"

Better than the "Mad Buck"

tomorrow is the day that the assembly starts debating the stadium. I always felt that the city council will be the hardest part, as i could see them changing the bill to sweeten the deal for the city, thus putting the whole bill in jeopardy. i would assume that this wouldn't be going to the floor so soon after the senate passing it, if they didn't have the votes. With so much bi-partisan support in the senate, i would assume the assembly would follow suit.

I hope so, Barka did mention some provisions to get democratic support, but i have no idea how the rest of the caucus feels about them. mainly that the state wouldn't fund an arena in 30 years if the bucks ask for a new arena.
