Wow, OJ Mayo dismissed and disqualified from the NBA for violating the NBA anti-drug program.

Was just coming to post this. Two years. Wow. Moron...

don't think that mayo was in the plans. but this effectively ends his career.

I'm 6'8", 15 years and 50 pounds past my playing weight. At the height of my basketball career, I was the 11th man on a small NAIA team.

I'm pretty sure I could get 2/18 in this market. I need an agent.

How exactly do you get a ban when the only previous issue was a 10 game PED ban? All the info I have seen doesn't say why such a harsh penalty for a 1st time offensive for a drug of abuse. Weird. Not that he was coming back to the Bucks but that is still crazy.

"Drugs of abuse" gets you an instant ban. Marijuana is not considered among those.

Those drugs are listed as “amphetamine and its analogs (including, but not limited to, methamphetamine and MDMA), cocaine, LSD, opiates (heroin, codeine and morphine), and PCP.”

There's been whispers of OJ doing coke for awhile. It wouldn't shock me.

bucks just gave 3/30 to Mirza Teletovic, who i can't say i ever heard of.

Stretch 4. Not a bad signing. For those that are fans of leadership qualities...he is the Captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team... :)

Bucks signing Delly to an offer sheet 4/38. I would expect (hope) the cavs match, but the signing is less than the 12 million he was expected to get and by the way funny money is flowing around the NBA i don't hate this.

Crazy you get an instant ban for doing coke. I don't think other leagues have anything that harsh.

The two signings are obvious attempts to improve the team shooting. I am not sure where they go from here; unless they trade Monroe I don't think they have enough cap space to add another significant piece.

Barf. Please please please let cleveland match this offer. Dellavedova is the dirtiest player in the league. I want nothing to do with him.

The Bucks need someone with some scrappyness. That being said I watch no nba except for the Bucks so I can't comment on his dirtiness

It appears the Bucks improved their shooting and defense today which is what I wanted from the offseason

Lebron has already tweeted a goodbye to Delly. With the Cavs over the cap as it is, they're not going to match.

Looks like all that's left is possibly/probably trading Monroe and MCW.

Delly will give his all AT ALL TIMES. Sadly when he goes full bore and others are not, his scrappy demeanor is looked upon as dirty.

I believe he can play in the league and be productive as a role player, coming off a bench to provide a spark or harass a player on the opposition that is on fire.

I think the Bucks overpaid big time. I wish Delly well moving forward but I suspect that many fans will scream for his head/ release after 1 year when he fails to average double digit points or assists...

Well, no, he's actually a dirty player. Call it "scrappy" all you want, but he does stuff that doesn't belong on a basketball court.

None of those plays have anything to do with grit or scrappy or toughness. They are dirty. They are plays where if you did them during a pickup game, you'd get punched.

Many people here are way too young to remember the amazing playoff series' the Bucks had against the Celtics in the 80's, But Dellavadova reminds me tremendously of a way less dirty version of Danny Ainge. Those who remember those games vs the Celtics may recall Ainge doing 8 or 9 of the things from that Delly "dirty" mix tape in a single series....like Delly, Ainge just outworked people....love the defensive tenacity
