New logos look pretty dope.

I was worried as I wasn't really a fan of the new M design. But I like these and think they kept a retro type feel. I still would've preferred a re-boot of the Buck spinning the ball since retro is in these days, but these logos go down the same road without just using the old logo so I get it and like them.

MCW had his best game as a Buck last night. 30 PTS, 5 AST, 5 REB, 3 STL and only 2 TO while shooting 64.7% from the field. I'm not expecting him to continue this kind of production but the potential is definitely there. Again if MCW can average 15/8/5 with a decent AST/TO ratio, I will consider the Knight trade a win for the Bucks.

Here is how I hope our offseason goes.

My wish list would be:

1. Resign Middleton (5yrs/$55M) - Gives the Bucks a pure shooter who helps spread the floor for Giannis and Jabari.

2. Resign Dudley (3yrs/$15M) - Veteran player who can shoot and be a positive influence in the locker room.

3. Sign Tyson Chandler (3yrs/$24M) - Defensive minded center who can rebound and will not take touches away from Giannis, Jabari & Khris.

4. Trade #17 Pick and John Henson to move up and get Myles Turner - Gives the Bucks their future center who can develop and learn from Chandler.

5. Trade Clippers Future Pick and our 2nd Rd Pick to get Justin Anderson towards the end of the 1st Rd - Bucks get another shooter who can come off the bench for instant offense. At 6'6" 220, he is another large body who can also defend multiple positions.

Starting Lineup:

PG - Carter-Williams ($2.5M)

SG - Middleton ($9M)

SF - Antetekounmpo ($2M)

PF - Parker ($5M)

C - Chandler ($8M)

Bench:

PG - Ennis ($1.5M)

PG - Bayless ($3M)

SG - Mayo ($8M)

SG - Anderson ($1M)

SF/PF - Dudley ($5M)

SF - Inglis ($1M)

PF - Ilyasova ($8M)

C - Pachulia ($5M)

C - Turner ($2.5M)

C - Plumlee ($2M)

Chandler is getting up there in age. He already left Dallas once, I think he realized what a great boss Mr. Cuban is and won't make that mistake again.

I'm not sure where you got this theory from but he was traded to Dallas this time. Maybe Mark Cuban specifically targeted him or maybe not. But I think the Bucks are a defensive minded team on the rise which could interest a player like Chandler. Also they have depth at center which could help prolong his career by regulating his minutes. He just seems like the perfect center for the Bucks.

Yes Chandler is a great fit for the Bucks, but he's a great fit for almost every contending team. He's not coming to Milwaukee unless we offer significantly more money. I agree with Superfly, he probably won't leave Dallas. Cuban realized it was a mistake letting him go and after seeing how the Knicks operate he appreciates having the best owner in the league. Only chance for MKE would be if Kidd and Chandler have a great relationship from their time in NY. What's ironic is that Sanders was basically a poor man's Chandler, Bucks had exactly what they need in Sanders if he didn't flake out. Willy Cauley-Stine from Kentucky also fits this category, if we would have had just one more crappy season to get a top 7 pick we'd be in prime spot to grab a guy like him.

I don't think Henson and the 17 is going to move you up all that far in the draft, throw in the clips pick and some second rounders and maybe you can get up far enough to get a good rim protecting young big like WCS, Turner etc. Also, if we don't move up it wouldn't surprise me at all if they took Frank, looking at him as kind of a replacement for Ersan when his contract is up I think after next year.

I thought Greg Monroe could be a possibility but the more I read I don't think it will happen. Sounds like he's going to the Knicks almost for sure. Regardless,it seems he's a bit of a ballstop on offense who needs post touches. Bucks motion share the ball system isn't ideal for that.

I don't think Myles is much of a center either. The guy is big; but when I watched Texas games this year he almost never played in the post. He liked to shoot outside despite having a pretty poor percentage if I am not mistaken.

If you want to trade up for a center; Poetl from Utah might not be a bad pick. But after Towns and Okafor there aren't a lot of good true centers in the draft. I say no way to Willy Cauley Stein.

I just think a screen/roll/catch/dunk defense first big (ala Larry) is what they need. not really a post-up type center. I think WCS fits that mold and could fall to the 8-12 pick range, no way they're getting Towns or Okafor. And WCS is such a good defensive player that he could fit what they're trying to do on D where all guys can switch.

I never really saw Turner play so I can't talk to his game, just where he's projected.

I'm neutral on the logos. Don't love them, don't hate them. The main one is still very similar to the current one. I'm more interested in the uniforms, and really hope the home uniforms don't have a huge "BUCKS" written out. To give you an idea what I like, Washington, Golden State, Brooklyn are all unis I love. Something more classic, I just think the more classic they are the cooler they look.

As far as next year goes, I don't want to move Henson. He can be a great guy to have off the bench for years, and won't cost a ton of money to keep long-term. I don't want to subtract a rim protector just to draft another one. No, I rather add another one. Defense is what can make the Bucks unique, and I want 2-3 guys in the game at all times that can protect the rim.

Ideally, I would like to add another big PG. Ennis and Guiterrez just don't do it for me, and Bayless doesn't play the point very well at all. He has a place, but shouldn't be playing much PG.

That's what I would add for sure. Another 6'5" + PG, another defense first Center, who can also function in the offense they have. That's it for next year. Now, if they trade Mayo and/or Sova, I will adjust my thinking. But I think another year with the guys they have, add those two pieces, plus get Parker back...let's see how far they can go. Then in 2016-17 season it will become more clear exactly what piece they need to take the next step.

I'm not sold on Ennis yet either but he's just a rookie and seems a legit 6'2 so he's not small. I liked him in college and think he has potential. My guess is they'll give him another year and an offseason with the team before giving up on a top 15 pick. I see your point though, I've seen some mock drafts giving us Tyus Jones, who seems to be lucky if he's 6'0, I don't see that as a possibility for what they're trying to do here.

I'm fine with Henson as a backup as well, I'd be worried someone will give him more money than we want to pay when he's a RFA. I just want to add someone with more upside with the chance to be a quality starter. My guess is Henson is capped out at what he is now, won't get any better.

Sucked is a strong word. Obviously he's not what he was but he adds another quality player to their rotation. Let's just say with 4 minutes to go in a tie game I'd rather see Tony Snell or Aaron Brooks out there against me than Rose. Who knows if he'll be smart enough to realize his shot will be rusty and he should focus on driving and creating. If he's dumb enough to chuck a bunch of deep contested twos or 3s and hurt his team than I suppose it would help the Bucks, I don't think he'll do that though.

the one obvious thing after game 1 is that the bucks need to add some size to their front court, they got man handled inside the paint.

*Need to add a POST THREAT.

We have plenty of size, but between Plumlee/Henson/Zaza there is zero offensive threat. That's why we aren't seeing Plumlee play, he's a copy of Henson who doesn't get a large amount of time himself...both of which are not offensive threats.

Somebody like Al Jefferson would immensely help this squad.

Personally I'd love to see DeAndre Jordan. Beast on defense, not an offensive treat but with Parker back, Giannis continuing to grow as a score with Middleton and MCW both having ability to take over games on a good night, there center doesn't need to be too offensive minded.

I don't see much chance of Gasol, Jefferson, Chandler coming to Milwaukee. Hilbert is a 7'2 guy who rebounds like a 6'7 undersized PF.

Brook Lopez is realistic if him and Kidd had a strong relationship. He is the offensive threat people would want at 5. he averages 20.6 ppg however of course the trade off is rebounding.

Enis and Vucevic are restricted FA's

Robin Lopez is so so and Asik is blah

It will be interesting to see how they construct this roster for next season.

Proud member since 2003 (geez ha I was 14 then)

I really don't think they'll do a whole lot. Target a rim protecting C like you're talking about in the draft and if there isn't one where they pick probably just look to get shooting. None of those FA bigs mentioned are coming to Milwaukee.

I wouldn't put it past the new owners to open up the pocket books for a FA.

I think the only guy they'd open up for would be Vucevic or Kanter. Jefferson and Chandler are getting older & Gasol / Jordan are not going anywhere. Vucevic and Kanter are young assets that still have upside.
