Here's a yes or no question: If a shortstop posts a .950 OPS, is 50 errors a season something you could live with? My answer is yes. What is yours?

 

I don't think it's as obvious as others have said, but I would say no. If he has 50 errors, that tells me he's not turning enough double plays either, not getting enough outs on 50/50 plays, etc. Basically, a SS that bad is not only committing errors, worst part is he's turning a lot of outs into hits and fielder's choice. Finally, it's not really an "either/or" choice. It's not like I'm saying no, a .950 bat won't be on the field. I would move him to 3B, 1B, LF....etc.
