I'm not going to do a full Top 15 because that is way too much thought for something that will be greatly wrong...moving on...

I think: Trenton Clark

I want: Walker Buehler

Bonus: I want Mantuella with the comp pick and Wisconsin native Kyle Cody with their 2nd round pick.

I believe the Brewers are going to go with whoever will allow them to sign someone who may fall to the Brewers competitive balance pick and their 2nd round pick. Matuella could fall to the Brewers with their competitive balance pick and by drafting someone like Hayes that could give them a chance at Matuella or Aiken.

Brewers pick (actual): Ke'Bryan Hayes, 3B, Concordia Lutheran HS (TX)

Brewers pick (your pick): Kolby Allard, LHP, San Clemente High School

Blargh! I hope the Cubs do not draft Cameron. They have enough amazing youth coming up the way it is. Let them draft a #3 pitcher like we normally do.

Alright sitting here I completely removed 15 players from the top 50 as considerations. If I had to predict the draft in my view this is my list in terms of Talent/BPA

Garrett Whitley

Kolby Allard

Justin Hooper

Mike Nikorak

Dillon Tate

Daz Cameron

Andrew Benintendi

Kyle Tucker

Dansby Swanson

I'd put Aiken here but thats on decent medicals.

Carson Fulmer

Dakota Chalmers

Jon Harris

Peter Lambert

Tyler Stephenson

Brendan Rodgers

Nick Plummer

Group of next wave of SPs/RP

Phil Bickford

Walker Buehler

Tyler Jay

Michael Matuella

Demi Orimoloye

Ian Happ

Scott Kingery

Alex Bregman

Jalen Miller

Ashe Russell

Beau Burrows

Donny Everett

Cody Ponce

Kyle Funkhouser

Mitchell Hansen

Austin Smith

DJ Steward

Nathan Kirby

#15 would be Tyler Stephenson of course lol my non Catchers in 1st rd.

I do have some serious excitement in the fact of some of the names mentioned early for signings means guys like my Wow Hooper/Allard/and Whitley one of them just may be there.

Here's part of my thinking currently. MIFs. Look at baseball now and future prospects. It's filled with SS/2b. There's a major era of SSs going on that are 700OPS+ types but not really above 825. This tells me that I don't need to focus on drafting these types because the league is about to be overstocked with them and finding a 700-825OPS MIF just won't be hard. So why draft these MIF types.

What's rare? Power. Corner OF Power. Whitley/Tucker/Plummer/Orimoloye/Cameron give that upside. I'll take that now over High contact SSs with little power upside.

I'll certainly take TOR(top of rotation) over these same SS types. So thus my rankings.

My HR draft choices would be to Aiken in this list. Below it to Orimoloye would be my 2nd wave of solid picks. Happ to Funkhouser would be okay but my excitement level isn't there unless they're had at value with 2nd/3rd picks if the above listed is all gone. The last 4 are 3rd picks or lower to be happy about.

Okay so with that said. Taking BA's 5.0 Mock their list as follows:

1:Tyler Stephenson..bye bye Catcher worries!

2:Dansby Swanson Legit SS pick

3:Tyler Jay Good he's my 2nd wave well below 15

4:Brendan Rodgers Another SS and in 2nd wave below 15

5:Daz Cameron Great pickup

6:Kyle Tucker Great Pick

7:Alex Bregman TY 3rd wave talent imo

8:Carson Fullmer Great Pick and again my choice for first to ML

9:Jon Harris Great Pick

10: Dillon Tate Great Pick

11: Andrew Benintendi Great Pick

12: Trenton Clark? Not even in my consideration Thanks for picking

13: James Kaprielian? Another not even in my consideration Thanks for picking

14: Ashe Russell In my 3rd wave.

Wow, let my excitement build....OMG this would mean my top 4BPA are all available at Milw's pick.

Whitley, Allard, Hooper, Nikorak. Can't wait for Milw's Pick! I truly hope any of these 4 become it.

As a signability pick could also see them reaching for 1B Josh Naylor. Canadian with good raw power and iffy defense? That's a tailor-made Brewers pick regardless of who the scouting director is. :laughing

It's exciting to think with the new man in charge that we can get back to predicting the Brewers will make a good selection.

I'll predict Cornelius Randolph, announced as a 3B. He's underrated, you can't ignore that bat. Talent, and coincidently fills a need.
