I look at our lineup, and just cringe.

Can we please DL Gomez and Aramis if they are not healthy enough to play? I am so tired of going into games without our starting lineup on the field and with a bench that is weakened and depleted due to nagging injuries. Make a decision that a guy is healthy and put him on the field or make the decision that a guy is injured, DL him, and get someone up here on the big league roster to take his place.

It feels like someone is playing a joke on us, and the real line-up will be posted later...

Do you want me to put "Cubs" over the Brewers lineup and "Brewers" over the Cubs lineup? Because I'll do it. I have that power.

The Brewers got really lucky there because Parra reached in to go after that. Once that happens I'm pretty sure it's a play on.

Edit: Not that it matters now.

Lohse won't be getting anyone for us. Put a fork in him. He's done.

It's pretty amazing how these control guys just lose it one day. I agree he's just screwing the pooch out there

Guys like Maldonado and Herrera have not taken advantage of their situations. You can't be getting regular playing time and not hit over .200

Boy can Rogers pound a lefty. Wow that was smoked.

It'd be interesting to see Blazek in a starting role. He's throwing the ball better than Lohse right now.

good observation by Brew4U re Herrera and Maldy; they need to take a hold of this opportunity and bat better; on the other hand, are we seeing Hector Gomez is a proper 24th or 25th man for the next 6 years; and I am loving Rogers; just trade Lind and put Rogers there and leave it at that

On Dexter Fowler's ground rule double, the ball got stuck under the padding of the wall. I was under the impression that those kinds of balls are still in play, and that this greatly contributed to a Brewer getting an inside the park home run a few years back? Is this no longer the case, or am I just remembering incorrectly?

Not sure for a fact, but I thought if you try to remove the ball then it is considered in play and not a ground rule double.

If you go after the ball it's live. And it got Prince Fielder his second inside the park homerun a few years ago against the Blue Jays.
