Having a dinosaur with no range at 3rd is most likely going to catch up to us this year.

Haha seriously? :laughing

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

It more just came to mind in the 1st on a play that a good 3B probably makes. I certainly don't blame him for not getting to that one, doubt that another 3B would, but he does have atrocious range that is probably going to worsen with age. He's not really well suited for the field anymore.

His range is pretty bad, but honestly everything else about his defense is pretty good. I think you have to give him credit for his throws especially on those slow rollers.

Getting really frustrating watching this offense. They should not be this bad through 8 games. It always seems like they manage to underperform for their talent no matter who the hitting coach is.

Well hopefully we can string together some offense against their bullpen. Just doesn't feel like our night though.

Khris Davis in the clutch...KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.

Seriously though can someone tell him he doesn't have to try and hit a homer every time someone is on base in a big spot...

Aramis... we'll take it!!
A tough pitch and he got a hit out of it. Cant ask for more......what's going on here?? No catch?

Definitely. Hopefully it'll get Aram going.

Easy to see on the replay but watching it live I thought it bounced first too. Nice that they have replay to correct that stuff.

I totally agree.

I am so sick of watching this team's garbage offensive approach year after year.

Nobody on and down 5? Hack away. 2 strikes and multiple runners on? Time to guess.

Everyone gets so surprised this talented offense struggles really badly, but it isn't all that amazing. The team is built horribly offensively...no one wants to take pitches and too many of these players hack away with RISP.

Until their big guys (Gomez, Lucroy and Braun) start to hit, this team will struggle mightily. Occasional singles through the right side from those guys just isn't going to get it done.

I hate how specialized baseball has become. I hope this new commish puts some rules in on relief pitchers being used. Annoying. And I'm not just saying that because the Cards do it quite a bit.

I'm not even sure Braun is a big boy anymore. He might just be a .280 with 20 HR hitter. It wouldn't surprise me if he's just an average corner outfielder for the rest of his career.

Seriously Ron...Lind vs. a lefty. What a joke.

Unfortunately, when you decide to send down guys like Jason Rogers and Matt Clark to accommodate terrible players like Logan Schafer, you won't have many choices in those situations.
