The lack of a single racing sausage does really surprises me. Especially on the Stitch N Pitch. Isn't it better to complete a set first? Whatever, people will buy up tickets right away, and collectors will hafta get the brat next year.

How many of the "heritage" racing sausages do they have now? Is that set completed? I believe they've done polish, brat, chorizo, and italian. I can't remember if there is a hot dog that's part of that set. Is that the breast cancer awareness one?

Im so sick of Hank and all his crap.

Here's why I doubt you'll see Hank go away:

Last year, for the first time, my 30 year-old wife told me that we HAD to go to a baseball game. She was, of course, referring to the September 13th "Bobble-Hank" Day. My wife is a pretty good sport, but she's never had a strong interest in baseball beyond the pair of games we attend together every year (until that little dog came along). You've got to credit the Brewers for marketing baseball to casual fans via Hank. If it gets me to an extra game every year, I'm all for it.

That dog is going to die someday, then what? Just keep getting "replacement" Hanks?

Can you imagine the absolute sorrow that some people will feel? It will be a nightmare since soooo many people are soooo attached to him. The Brewers may have to have a national day of mourning, and I am only half joking...

It is just too much. I am so tired of that little mutt!

He'll get a statue right next to Selig after he dies. And, yes, I know I didn't put this in blue.

I'm sure most fans would prefer a Hank the Dog experience to the Bud Selig Experience so I wouldn't rule out the statue. The Brewers are going to run Hank the Dog into the ground more than the 82 Brewers.

100% agree. It was a somewhat nice story - oh look, we took in this stray dog.

But seriously, this has just gone too far. Appearances at the stadium, whatever. But multiple "bobbleheads", tshirts, etc. We're literally talking about a stray dog here. I can't for the life of me understand the appeal of it. How is it different than virtually every other dog?

And I also agree...this will not change. They'll shove this thing down our throats forever.

The team already made a mascot version of hank, they are good to go once the real hank is gone. I think the brewers lead the league in mascots, five racing sausages, Bernie, hank, mascot hank, the new barrel man. Am I forgetting anyone?

Don't they bring out a Mrs. Bernie on Mother's Day?

There are still gypsies trying to offload last year's crop, which were sold out in minutes, I guess. They can't even get $100 for them now. If these are your thing, that's cool, go get them starting tomorrow. They're way too gaudy/expensive for my liking.

I like bobbleheads as much as the next guy. Enough so that I have at least one version of every one the Brewers have ever given out, along with some minor league ones. A few of them I've even paid a decent amount for but these just seem ridiculous. They do look good but are just ridiculously priced to me.

It's just so much money and as you've said, last years haven't exactly gone up in value. The casual collector certainly isn't going to fork over hundreds and hundreds of dollars for them IMO - at least I certainly wouldn't.
