Victor Martinez tears medial meniscus

Well that turned out badly for Detroit.

 

V-Mart tore his medial meniscus. He tore his ACL in 2012 and missed the entire year. The medial meniscus tear isn't as series. It certainly puts opening day in jeopardy, but after that, who knows.

Considering his job is to get off his butt only 4 or 5 times a game and swing hard I don't think it's that big of a deal, provided he fully recovers.
