Daniel Bryan has to be the odds on favorite to win the Royal Rumble, correct? I would like to see a Bryan/Lesnar Wrestlemania main event, but I would be legitimately scared for DB's health and well-being.

My prediction is that Ziggler wins it, I think with last years being so predictable they have to make it a surprise, Ziggler turns heel and faces Cena at Wrestlemania.

I HATE the Royal Rumble as it is now, with the winner wrestling for the title at WM. Completely eliminates all but about five or six guys winning it and any element of surprise whatsoever. Really, who are you going to have headline Wrestlemania? It can't be Lesnar, Cena, or Rollins because they aren't in it right? Bryan, yes (no pun intended because I HATE that chant and don't understand how it got over); maybe Ziggler but I don't think he's there yet. Reigns, yes, maybe Ryback.

My guess is it is one of these five who are profiled on the website - Sting, The Rock, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton. I'd put all of these guys over anyone but Bryan or Reigns. Of those, I think it's Sting. And I'll bet $1 that one of those five guys is #30. If I'm handicapping it: 1) Sting, 2) Bryan, 3) The Rock, 4) Reigns, 5) Undertaker, 6) Orton, 7) Mysterio. I think they'd let Ziggler wrestle for the title on another PPV, but not WM.

i love the royal rumble, its the 2nd best day of a WWE fan. I agree though LouisEly that its the problem with the Royal Rumble. With the top guys in other bouts and a week midcard roster, it really comes down to Bryan, Reigns, or Ziggler and thats about it.

I'd like to see Bray Wyatt win the Rumble and then proceed to torment Lesnar all the way to Wrestlemania. He's the closest thing the WWE has to a potential star IMO, and putting him over Lesnar could be a good thing.

Sting or the Undertaker would be cool, but there's no lasting impact there, neither is the Rock, Mysterio, or Orton. WWE is really hurting for fresh blood and they better hurry up and find it because once Cena, Orton, etc retire they have literally nothing.

good point on Bray. Thinking about it, i think you may be on to something. WWE has given him huge wins over Ambrose, seems like he is line for a push.

If i was handicapping it, I'd say

1) Wyatt

2) Bryan

3)Ambrose

4) Reigns

5) Ziggler.

In that little roundtable discussion at RAW this week Shawn Michaels mentioned the winner will main event WrestleMania but did not mention the title so I am wondering if the WWE makes things interesting and has the winner headline one of the main events but maybe not for the title. I think in the past it could have worked with Undertaker and his opponent. Opens up the possibilities a little bit more. Even now I think Bray vs. Undertaker could be interesting.

I almost put Bray in there, but I don't think he's there yet. A guy like Sting, The Rock, Undertaker, etc., wouldn't have to wrestle much if at all before WM and thus it wouldn't take any heat away. You have two months before WM; Bray (and Ziggler) need to be active for two months and I don't know how they stretch it out for two months with those two guys and who they would wrestle/feud with in the meantime.

This is exactly like last year. Bryan SHOULD win, but Reigns WILL win. Last year it was just Batista instead of Reigns. And to piss people off more, Cena will win the title and face Reigns. There's a reason Rollins was added to the match, and it's so Cena can win the title without Lesnar getting pinned. Last week was a setup to turn Lesnar face anyway.

My dream is Cena pins Rollins. Lesnar gets so pissed that he attacks Cena. Rollins cashes in on Cena. Bryan wins the Rumble. Bryan vs. Rollins for the title in the WM main event. Pure gold! My second choice is just having Lesnar win, and doing Lesnar vs. Bryan. David vs. Goliath.

I agree with Patrick. The Royal Rumble is my second favorite PPV of the year. I'm a big fan of nostalgia. The Rumble is usually pretty good for a couple of surprises. Since the event is in Philly this year, I think it might be possible for an ECW alum to make a cameo. Bubba Ray and Devon Dudley are currently free agents. I think Raven has also made peace with the WWE as well.

SPOILER ALERT: A former WWE superstar and one of the biggest names in wrestling Tweeted he was in Philly this weekend. It could just be a red herring, but I think he will show up tonight.

I heard the devon and bubba ray may be back tonight. The rock is in the building, not sure if this means he is in the rumble though. would be an awesome moment if he was. (as long as he doesn't win it....)

Sting at 50:1?? I'd drop $20 on that in a heartbeat. Anyone in Vegas??? I'll PayPal you $20.

That's only 25, room for five more.

There were a lot more, but I didn't think it was necessary to post the 80-1 guys like Fernando, R-Truth, and The Bunny. Hornswoggle and El Torito are at 100-1.

The real Royal Rumble winner should be Curtis Axel. He was never eliminated. It's not like that throw into the barricade was all that terrible.

The WWE's lack of foresight is amazing. I can't believe they didn't predict the reaction from the crowd when Daniel Bryan got eliminated. The air was taken completely out of the crowd, and then they crapped on everything else that wasn't Ambrose, Ziggler, and The Rock. Poor Roman Reigns. I actually feel bad for him. It isn't his fault that the WWE has crowned him as the next chosen one.

They didn't even attempt to give fans hope with Bryan. No different than last year when it was all signed sealed and delivered for Batista despite fans wanting otherwise. The company's stock is heading to zero and still Vince cannot figure it out. The time has passed him by, he needs to hand it over to HHH and Steffy before it's too late to salvage anything.

This can still be somewhat saved by having The Authority claim that Reigns is the perfect corporate champ, and have Lesnar turn face. I'm mainly disappointed, because the build would've been a lot better with someone who could actually come close to matching Heyman's mic skills. Reigns sucks on the mic.

So the surprise non-roster entrants were Bubba Ray (predicted), DDP (didn't hear anything about), and one of my favorite wrestlers/characters of all time, The Boogeyman. Usually they put one of the surprise non-roster invitees towards the latter part, in the 24-28 range; understandably since Bubba Ray wasn't any surprise he went early, but surprised (unless I wasn't aware of it being leaked) that DDP wasn't slotted in that 24-28 range.

Curious as to what kind of reaction The Boogeyman got.
