The Tigers have signed lefty swingman Tom Gorzelanny to a one-year deal, the team announced.

Maybe he'll actually get a chance to pitch in Detroit.

The problem last year, and the reason I suspect the Brewers didn't pursue resigning him and probably the reason he only got 1 yr/$1M, is that after he returned from injury he couldn't go in back-to-back games.

 

If there's a criticism I have of RRR, it's running the same guys out there 3-4 games in a row and not letting guys go >1 inning. As such, you can't have someone who can only go every 3/4 days.
