This guy is worth a look at our bench role for IF.

 

Petit, 30, is a utility infielder who is capable of playing short. He has actually hit quite well in the upper minors in recent years, and last year slashed .278/.300/.423 over 100 plate appearances with the big club. Combined with solid defensive ratings, that made him worth .4 fWAR/.8 rWAR in about one-sixth of a full season. Doing my own research, since 2012 he has slashed .304-BA/.371OBP/.499slg/.866 OPS in 401 plate appearances against LHP's. This would be great to add to both Segura (who has stunk against lefties) and Gennett when there is a tough lefty pitcher. Can play all IF positions, minus 1B (I think)
