AUDIO: Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopolous discusses his team’s decision to trade 1B/DH Adam Lind to the Brewers, and how the return in that trade - RHP Marco Estrada - will likely be used out of of the bullpen.

 

While Anthopoulos says trading Adam Lind provides the team with flexibility for more moves this winter, he admits that only two clubs were interested in the DH/1B's services at his current salary, hence limiting the returns on that asset.

Sorry if this doesn't belong in the Major League forum, but the latest fangraphs podcast talks for a couple minutes about Tyler Wagner at the AFL and his uncommon arm action. They compare Jungmann who the Brewers tried to tinker with to Wagner who they're letting do his thing. Starts around the 27 minute mark. Cistulli is one of those guys people either love or hate, but Kiley Mcdaniel is definitely worth reading/listening to when it comes to amateur scouting.
