That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

A Royals @ Orioles ALCS would be awesome.

Even though the Royals and Orioles have never faced each other in the ALCS, it'd still be a throwback to the 1970s and 1980s when both franchises perennially fielded good teams.

Baltimore Orioles Postseason Results

The Orioles' results omit their 1944 World Series appearance as the St. Louis Browns.

All I care about is the Cards swept in embarrassing fashion.
That could happen. Kershaw is overdue to dominate us. BTW, the start time has been moved up 2 hours on Friday. (I think)

Here's my post season picks from Monday (my Cards forum site)

American League

Royals beat A's for WC

O's beat Tigers in LCS

Angels beat Royals in LCS

O's beat Angels for pennant

National League

Giants beat Pirates for WC

Dodgers beat Cards in LCS

Nats beat Giants in LCS

Nats beat Dodgers for pennant and a Beltway WS

World Series: Orioles beat Nationals in 7

What about it Boys?

I'm still seeing 6:30 ET / 5:30 CT on the various web sites. Any updates that anyone can offer are appreciated, of course. :)

Though I have little interest in this game, I WILL tune in by the 8th. Hopefully it's not a blowout by then.

I was really impressed by the Royals last night maintaining a 2-2 tie for six innings and then pulling out the victory in the 11th. And their Wild Card win was one of the most exciting baseball games I've ever seen. I am rooting for them big time. Aoki made a couple of amazing catches last night and had a huge smile on his face; he was having a great time. I miss Aoki. Lorenzo Cain looks real good too. Let's go Kansas City Brewers!

So why is Anibal Sanchez in the bullpen? He's their 3rd best starter, taking over in the 6th for their worst starter. I know he was hurt but even if you only get 4 or 5 innings a start from him, it's probably better than what you're going to get from Verlander.

So the Cardinals drill Puig in the first game of the series. It will be an absolute joke when there are no suspensions from this. The Cardinals are trash. Absolute trash. The whole organization.

The Dodgers just need to keep taking aim at Molina and Holiday's head. Every at bat, up and in.

I missed the Yosting. What happened?

2 on, 2 out in the 6th. Yost has 3 great relievers to get ten outs. Leaves his starter in to face Pujols. Tie game.
