Latest on Braun's thumb:

Ryan Braun will undergo a cryotherapy procedure on his ailing right thumb on Thursday in Los Angeles.

Braun has been playing through pain all season and has seen his hitting suffer. He and the Brewers decided against an operation last offseason, but they believe the cryotherapy procedure won't be too invasive and could fix the issue. The surgery involves the freezing of damaged tissue and has never been performed on a thumb before, but assistant general manager Gord Ash said it's "been successful with other parts of the body." Braun's rehab schedule is unclear given that there's no track record with this kind of procedure, but obviously the Brewers hope he'll be pain-free for spring training if all goes well.

RR said Davis is still hurting. As far as Braun and Ramirez, it is the end of the year, let em play. No Gomey though, so we can't see what great or dumb thing he could do today.

Winter is coming.

Davis has to be one of the injuries that has been kept pretty quiet but has really been problematic. Had a bad last few weeks, but if he's barely been a platoon player with Parra when he was supposed to be the starter and they're bothering to play Braun every day and Davis hardly at all something just isn't right with him.

Hey Ron, want to wake up? Herrera just got tagged out by a glove with no ball in it. It shouldn't surprise me that we are futile even in the last game of the year. Why is Herrera going?

Anyone else pick it up?

Good Job getting Rickie an AB in his last game as a Brewer, Ron.

For what it's worth, RR was asked about this is the post-game press conference and said that he asked Weeks if he wanted to play today and he said he didn't.

To be fair, no one really wanted to play in the last month+, but RRR at least had to put a team on the field.
