As noted above, RHP Tyler Cravy made his second rehab appearance (3 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 3 K).

 

Unfortunately, 1st round LHP Kodi Medeiros entered in the 7th with the Brewers already down 8-4, and he allowed four runs of his own on five hits (including an inside-the-park home run) and a walk, along with two wild pitches.

 

Looks like CF Carlos Belonis was injured on the inside-the-park home run --

I have no problem with the Sounds saying goodbye to the Brewers, it has been a lot of losing baseball since the fun of 2006-2007 (Baseball Reference Year-by-Year). Certainly the taint of the Mike Guerrero era, incluiding last year's abysmal showing out of the box, sealed the deal. It's been ten years, that's a long run. Time for change, forced or not. Can't blame Sounds management.

 

Now watch, they'll announce a stunning renewal with the Crew.
