No runs since the second inning. Do we just mail it in after a couple early runs or it is inability to respond to adjustments? Our latest runs per inning and MLB rank:

1: 1 (.65)

2: 4 (.53)

3: 9 (.51)

4: 12 (.52)

5: 16 (.49)

6: 17 (.47)

7: 23 (.40)

8: 19 (.40)

9: 25 (.25)

That is pretty remarkable. Innings 7-9 might be influenced by our horrendous bench (at least for most of the season), but it still seems like they are inordinately good the first time through the order.

Fun game to be, but watching us strand runners and run int outs gets a bit old.

Hard to knock Krod much. Mcutcheon may be the best, or near best hitter in baseball. When they keep fouling, you know you are in trouble. KRod took him ten pitches in.
