Agreed; at least you would hope that type of death is rather instantaneous with little pain. You could never pay me enough money to go be a journalist or have any type job in that part of the world.

Sadly I don't think it is.

 

As for being a journalist in that type of the world, I would be scared to do it, but it's an extremely important job. They know it is dangerous and still do it because they believe in what they're doing.

 

 

edit: I removed the portion I thought might be taking this thread in a political direction. if you want to talk about the perils of war time journalism, feel free. But try to refrain from talking about the causes of said war. Or better yet, head over to the political board and discuss it there.
