Am I the only one who thinks that Davis' helmet seems odd. It always seems to be covering his eyes and he has to hold his head up to see out. Like the kid in little league who always picks a helmet that is too big.

 

 

Of course, MANY little league kids have head sizes that are MUCH too small for even the smallest helmet that is made. So those kids have no choice but to look that way.

Brewers are on the front page of ESPN.com.

I'm surprised. MLB Network barely covered the end of the game. They usually do live look-ins for the end of games, especially the late night ones. They just went straight into the day's highlights. I don't think they like it when the small town Brewers beat up the big money teams.....

I went to bed (wasn't feeling well) but recorded it and just finished watching. What a fun game! Overbay was huge, along with Braun, Scooter , Lucroy, and Davis. Love it!

Looking like a BA and DN kinda night on FSN Wisconsin which means it will be a Vincent Scully kind of series for me

 

We have MLB Extra Innings so we got Vince last night. He's okay but does drone on and on...

In case you werent aware. Jimmy Nelson is from Niceville, Florida. Scully has mentioned this 3 times so far....2 mentions short of making it a drinking game...and this LaCroix guy batting must be new

 

Scully did say he liked the sound of that town. :)

[cool story bro]I drove through Niceville a few weeks ago. Also, I was in a restroom in a Florida restaurant that had newspapers above the urinals. One of the stories in the sports section was a "local boy done good" piece about Jimmy Nelson getting called up to bigs.

Where in FL exactly is Niceville? I don't think it is near me in southwest FL.
