Honestly, this has the feel of another shutout. The offense looks out of it. They've been swinging at crap lately, and seem to be afraid to work a count or draw a walk. Frustrating to watch. Even more frustrating when the pitching is bad, too.

Brewers have been nothing more then a 500 team since April.......hard to believe that kind of mediocre play will get them in the playoffs....just nothing special about this team.

 

Offense streaky......starting pitching ok....bullpen average or worse.

I would really like to see the Brewers win tonight and Braun hit a homerun and go 3/4. I am tired of the bench Braun cries, even though he leads the team in RBI's.

 

#1 - Who is saying to "bench" Braun?

 

#2 - RBI's are not a good way to judge offensive performance.

 

Batting average with runners in scoring position is not away to judge offensive performance? I disagree. If a guy gets all his hits with no one on the hits are useless unless someone drives him in.

 

Yup, hits are useless unless there's a runner on base. Might as well make an out when the bases are empty, let's not waste everyone's time here.
