It sure would be nice to tack on a couple of runs. The Dodgers had a long trip to MKE, thy might mail this one in if they get down by a couple more.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Doug DeCinces hit 237 home runs in his 15 year career.

On this date in 1982, California Angels third baseman Doug DeCinces hit three home runs to help his team beat the Seattle Mariners 9-5. His three home run game came less than a week after hitting 3 home runs against the Minnesota Twins. DeCinces wound up third in the American League MVP vote, behind Eddie Murray and winner Robin Yount. Yount was nearly a unanimous winner, collecting 27 of 28 first place votes. Reggie Jackson, DeCinces' teammate, collected the other first place vote.

As many hits in the first four batters as in eight innings against Hernandez a month ago. And twice as many runs through five batters. Let's see it all night; can't stand when we hit early then don't touch the starter after and he goes seven strong.

This post Jinxed our batters! :tongue 14straight retired :(

The Dodgers hitters did a nice job of making Lohse throw a lot of pitches to get outs. They couldn't do much against him but they got him out of the game after 6 innings and now they can attack the bullpen. I hope Roenicke and Narron were paying attention.
