Great win! It's nice to have a key game and the other team starts a Jake Peavy.

 

The Brewers don't feel like a first place team to me, but hopefully they will hit their stride soon.

2-7-1 in series since the start of July and we're still in first place. Man, not sure if that's lucky or what but we are still in position to win this thing after about a month of pretty inconsistent baseball. Hopefully this series win was just the start of a stringing a few together. Starts with game one against the Dodgers tomorrow!

A lot of other years, he'd be in the Cy discussion, but with Wainright and Kershaw being stupid-good this year, Peralta's not even on the radar.
