Does every team have like 3 relievers with sub-2.0 ERA this year?

Yes, and it looked like the Brewers would be one of those teams. Until Thornburg went down, KRod came back down to earth and Smith turned into a LOGGY. Flying under the radar during all this was Ryan Braun morphing into Kevin Mench.

It used to be that you wanted to get the starter out of the game as early as possible. Now if you are losing when the starter leaves, the game's likely over.

Blue with the mench comment?

Unless you're talking about pitch selection.

This. People are wondeirng why offense is down. It's partly because the bullpen is not just the realm of 'failed starters' anymore. A lot of teams have REALLY GOOD bullpens now. Against some teams, you realistically have 6 innings to get your runs.

Great baserunning rickie.

That's a common play when runners are on first and 3rd. I wouldn't blame anyone but Braun for swinging.

The only thing I'd blame Rickie for is hesitating - either take off or stay.

Did the play by play just cut out for anybody else? Instead of hearing the tv guys, I'm hearing music instead. WTH?

NM, reloaded the channel, and it's back to Bill & Brian. That was weird.

Kintzler never makes it easy, does he?
