So you don't think DM did enough at the trade deadline. I agree 100%. Mark my words if we miss the playoffs due to this DM should be fired. We are the favorites up until this point and we should stay the favorites in the NL.

Melvin dropped the ball. Lester or Price would have given the Brewers the push they needed. I still think they make the playoffs, but I think the Braves or Nationals will beat them easily. Damn shame they punked out of acquiring an ace just to keep mediocre prospects.

AL -

Baltimore

Detroit

Oakland

Toronto/Los Angeles

Washington

St. Louis

Los Angeles

Milwaukee/San Francisco

I don't like predicting short series. Too much can happen, and go right or wrong in a 1, 5 or 7 game set. Bats get hot or cold at the right or wrong time, and even bad hitting teams get hot, or good hitting teams go cold, and predictions are pretty meaningless for a short series. But those are the teams I think make the playoffs. My guess is the Cards win the central with the pitching they now have, but the Brewers hang on for one of the 2 W/C spots.

I am indifferent towards what DM did at the deadline. I would have loved to see Morneau and what he could have brought depending on the price but I wanted no part of Lester or Price for the cost that I thought would come with them.

If we miss the playoffs, you won't know one way or the other if it's because the Brewers didn't get someone else in a trade.

And by the way, DM said that he made offers to other teams, including at least one "big" move (he even said the names of some teams), but nothing came to fruition.

On Playstation, all your proposed trades are accepted.

He didn't offer enough then. That's on him.

What do you mean "If we miss the playoffs"? You already have guaranteed us that we are a lock with our roster as is. You're not waffling on us now, are you?

WS Tigers, Brewers win in 7 in extras

I like this. I wish it would happen. I'm strongly hoping that the Cards pitching gambles don't pay off and they don't make the playoffs at all. But most definitely, these are the teams I'm seeing in, with the exception of the Cards.

We are the favorites up until this point and we should stay the favorites in the NL.

The Brewers were never the NL favorites. The Dodgers have been all year. I think it was Bovada that had the Brewers as the fifth most likely team to win the NL, and this was a couple weeks ago.

for a while at a local vegas casino the brewers were tied with the a's as favorites to win the world series. since then the brewers odds have gone from 3/1 to 9/2.

You may want to do some edits then, I think you have the A's losing the WS

Yep. I had two AL teams in the world series. Mistyped. Whoops.
