After the weekend he had hitting at Miller Park, he would make sense for the Brewers to target for 1B. Have to imagine that if the Mets wanted Thornburg for Ike, they would want Nelson for Duda. This obviously is a non-starter but is there any other package that we could put together to entice the Mets into dealing us Duda?

Duda has become a core player for Mets who are offensively challenged. No chance.

Yeah, I think it was pretty much one or the other they'd trade (Davis/Duda), not both.

I could see them dealing Duda and giving Allan Dykstra a shot. He's hitting well in AAA and is a favorite of Sandy Alderson. It would be the best way for them to maximize their assets.
