Congratulations to Jimmy Nelson on his first professional base hit. It took him five seasons and 56 plate appearances to do it. In the minors, he managed to draw three walks, one of which must have been with the bases loaded as he has one RBI. He also had two sacrifice bunts.

Kintzler is in. Wouldn't have been my choice. That or Gorzy. I would go 1. Duke 2. Smith 3. Jeffress but he goes with 4. Gorz 5. kintzler

Kintzler is someone they need to get going.

And why would they go with the lefties with the right handers coming up?

Do people remember what Kintlzer did last year? He was a very good right handed reliever. If he keeps the ball down, he can be a huge part of our pen again.

We need a strong finish from Kintzler.

Nice. I've thought Kintlzer was on the right track a few times before, so I'll hold off on getting too excited, but that was the guy we saw last year. Getting in on the hands of good hitters and spotting that 94 MPH sinker down and in to get ground balls.

Why does that have anything to do with how bad he has been this year?

I don't trust the guy this year, and it appears I am not alone in those feelings.
