Man, oh man, this was a kick to the gut, even before the off-field news became known. It's probably good that the break is almost here for most of the team. I hope they can find and engage the reset button.

I officially can't watch anymore games until they actually win a game. I can't do this anymore. Watching isn't anything but gut-wrenching when you know in your heart that no matter what they do, it's just not enough.

oh come on. It is along season. Even if they lose the series to the Cards if they get hot they can retake the lead

 

I realize that. Right now, they're playing such terrible ball that watching is a waste of time. Right now, it feels like no matter what, they're going to find a way to lose, every single night. I can't watch this train-wreck/dumpster fire/20 care pile up/whatever you want to call it until/when they manage to pull out of the tailspin. Sports is entertainment, and it's no longer entertaining, it's just frustrating and un-fun.

 

Yes, this is so un-fun. :( I'm still debating if I can stomach watching today's game. :tongue

They lost 88 games and were 23 games out of 1st place at the end of last year. They are in first place with the best record in the National league so far this year. Seriously...you people are going to complain that the sky is falling? Try talking to the Cubs or the Diamondback fans.

 

But surely you must be alarmed at how poorly the Crew is playing right now?
