Is anyone familiar with the rows at Camp Randall?

billyhallfan

Strange question, but I graduated from UW and just renewed my football season tickets for the 2nd year. I was in the upper deck last year, but got into Section A, Row 40.

Does anyone know if Row 40 is under the overhang of the second level?

I tried calling the ticket office but the lady couldn't tell me for sure. I'm guessing it is pretty close to the end of the overhang.

We're in section W so won't be any help, we don't get to hide from the elements on the East side of the stadium. ;)

My family has had seats in row 54 for 40+ years. Row 40 is right on the edge of the overhang, leaning towards not being under it. The few games where there is weather (that I've been to) fans start getting wet about 12 or so rows in front of us.

I applied for tickets in April and called to ask what rows to request to be under the overhang. They told me row 50+ was under cover. I requested that and got section A row 61.

For what its worth they are still selling tickets where people can actually pick their specific seats. So if you arent happy with the seats they gave you it might be possible to check online and try to move your seat location.
