The Sounds jumped out to an early 3-0 lead courtesy of newcomer Matt Clark, who drove a three-run two-out double over right fielder Engel Beltre's head to mark his first hit with the club.

Sean Halton, 4-for-5, added to Nashville's lead with his single in the 3rd inning which scored Jason Rogers, who reached base on balls. Catcher Shawn Zarraga, 2-for-3, made it a 5-0 game with his bases-loaded sacrifice fly.

Hector Gomez hit his second double of the game in the 7th inning to plate Nashville's seventh run. Then in the 8th, the Sounds scored three with consecutive RBI singles from Halton, Clark and Zarraga.

I believe that was actually from Friday's game. Chris had me all all confused because during both doubleheader games on Sunday he was mentioning "yesterday's game" which was of course postponed and the reason they played a double header on Sunday in the first place. I must have checked the boxscores for Saturday at least 3 times during the double header to make sure I didn't miss posting a summary from Saturday.
