I'm sorry, but the Brewers didn't handle thornburg we'll at all during this whole thing. They completely wasted a roster spot for an entire month keeping a pitcher that they knew really needed to go on the DL on the 25 man roster for all of May and he barely pitched in that month or at all. They took FOREVER to bring up Jeffress. DM is always SLOW to make the bullpen calls from the minors. He's historically bad in this area.

 

A-How do you know THEY knew that Thornburg "really needed," to go on the DL in May?

B-Jeffress didn't even sign with the Brewes until April 18th. To expect them to not only put Thornburg on the DL after being lights out in April, but to bring up Jeffress before he'd done anything in AAA is revisionist history.

C-Historically bad? You weren't able to name a single example, you just said;

 

Every year since 2007 he's been slow to call up relievers. Look at the first 2 months of the season for relief pitchers, then look when they were replaced. Quite shocking.

 

 

Who? Who are these relievers? And how is this different from any other team? Who are the players you're referring to?

 

 

You realize you also said that Carlos Gomez was a "historicall bad," base runner.
