I'm getting a new appreciation for the Human Element. No one would have given that a second thought before replay. He beat the throw. The Rox didn't make the play. Why should they get rewarded for what is at best a fluke on the slide? It's not like it was clear enought to overturn anyway.

Krod throws too many breaking balls every so often. Still need to use that fastball to set up other pitches. The Rutledge homer should've never been thrown.

Do these guys truly not understand the concept of just putting the ball in play with a man on third and less than two outs?

 

There are guys on this team that just can't seem to even begin to grasp that concept, and it's mind bogglingly frustrating.
