I am "clearly" so sick and tired of the Marshfield Clinic commercials...Not as bad as the Lottery commercials, but very close...

Those Toyota commercials with that Jan gal are getting tiresome too. :tongue They keep showing the same damn ads over and over and over...

Looks like you guys have a good game going. Mine is boring. No score in LA.

Look in when your game is over. On MLB TV

Where I am staying here in Green Bay they don't have the MLB Network. :( I'll get it again when I'm back home in FL.

Amazing that the Rockies are sending this guy out again versus the Brewers. They are basically just giving the Brewers the win.

This is probably what Nats fans thought yesterday when they saw Estrada pitching and the lineup Strasburg was facing

Maybe, but Estrada is a proven major league player. I was coming more from a Rockies fan point of view, I can't imagine the Brewers trotting out a guy twice who really doesn't have any business in the majors. Just makes me question Rockies management and what they are trying to do.

You know Braun doesn't seem to have the same pop he's had in past seasons, but he looks like he has his speed back.

Braun would make a great leadoff hitter

I had this discussion with a buddy a few days ago, and at first I thought he was crazy, but the more I thought about it, the more sense it made...

I does make sense. Even rock headed Matheny finally moved Matt Holiday from #3 to #2. Perhaps the 1 or 2 spot would be better for Braun as well. He certainly needs to shorten his stroke and be more selective, judging by what I saw in the game day before yesterday.

For the time being, yes, I'm good with keeping him there. He'll regain his power. I really think the abdominal muscle is still bothering him. He's been playing pretty much nonstop, and a pulled muscle doesn't heal without rest. I don't think he'll play at the ASG, even if he were selected as a backup. But 3-4 days of rest could help him.

We saw him earlier in the year have a 2 and a 3 home run game. Unless some Marvell Universe villain has come down and sapped his strength, he'll recover.

Commenting late, because our games this week were the long ones (Tuesday and Thursday, and we stayed to the end of each, then drove back to Madison)...the SO and I, along with thablingster, took in this one from the Toyota Territory. The seats are now first come, first served, so we "upgraded" from the terrace box for a night, just to see what it was like, without having to pay for an upgrade or buy a food package like you'd have to in the picnic area.

I'd do it again. It was neat to watch from an angle nearly opposite our ordinary seats, and with absolutely no one in front of us. For this short fan who is resigned to having to look around taller fans and try not to focus on railings, the visibility was AWESOME.

With Rickie's laser blast coming so early in the game, I totally missed that ball and only realized it was a home run due to the crowd reaction; but was able to follow the others and see the entire arc of the ball. For Scooter's homer, in our regular seats I'd have had to pause for a moment to make sure it wasn't just a deep fly, but from the territory I could see early on that it was a no doubter.

I would have considered this a long, late game, had it happened before Tuesday's. After the 16-inning odyssey, we got home at 2:17 AM. After this game it was "only" 12:49 AM. If commuting time and sleep deprivation figured into fan loyalty, we'd get a boost this week.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
