Nope. It will be in another 3-4 weeks if he's not hitting. Slumps happen. Bad luck happens. He's somewhere inbetween that. He'll figure out his zone and start smacking hits again. Too good not to.

I just wish I had that faith. Watching him all these years he's never looked like this

Fiers ready to piggy back start this game? 50+ pitches after 2 innings. Gross.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I have a hunch Marco will have good stuff tonight.

IGT Rule: No posting unless you vote Luc and Gomez at least 25 times.

Yeah. I was wrong about Marco. However voting Luc and GoGo is always right.

And there it is. Disgusting. This game should NOT be 6-4. Absolutely disgraceful.

hopefully ron doesn't say "the defense lost it" and keep throwing marco out there

I mean, it's no good, but let's calm down a bit. Disgusting? Disgraceful? Come on. It's a poor performance in a baseball game. One we knew was coming, sure, but still just a baseball game.

This isn't all on Marco (the defense has been atrocious), but he's looked lost out there. Throwing very hittable pitches over the plate on 0-2/1-2 counts, not giving Lucroy any chance of throwing out a runner twice. He's not getting much help behind him, but he certainly isn't doing anything to help himself. Probably need to give it to the bullpen early and hope they can stabilize.

We don't come here for perspective.

This has gotta be his last start. I get that its Coors and its a HR ballpark but 51 pitches through 2 and another HR given up. Its time..

I wanted to make a similar post with a similar thought, but I was nervous at sounding irrational. I couldn't agree more. His last 6 starts his ERA is around 7. The Brewers have to get him out of the rotation. I don't expect a #4 starter to be "perfect" but I also don't expect that same #4 starter to take a gas can and matches with him to the mound every time he starts.
