At this point, if Braun really is this unhealthy...maybe it's time for him to go back on the DL. He's not exactly helping the team lately.

Of course, it could just be a rough stretch, but even when he was getting hits, he still didn't seem right at the plate.

Alright Duke....need a nice, clean inning here. Get the offense back up there in a hurry!

Braun is not 100%. I don't know if he ever will be. It's depressing. He can look really bad at times and hasn't looked himself for awhile now. I also am depressed when I think about how we signed him to a second unnecessary extension.

In happier news, I can't believe this team is back in this game. They just don't quit and I love it!

Something isn't right with him. He hasn't looked comfortable all year at the plate. I really hope he recovers quickly from whatever is troubling him.

this is why i've been suggesting some one like an alex gordon would be such a good idea. Braun will not stay healthy and isnt healthy. Ramirez ditto. Overbay is awful at first. A super utility left handed bat that is actually decent would be crazy valuable for this team

This would be a very nice win if we can pull this thing out.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

This is the reason I will never trust Garza in a playoff stretch nor in the playoffs.

An ALCS MVP? I don't think the playoffs, specifically, are a problem.

That's kinda my point. Your lamenting about the playoffs for what? I'm worried about his performance in June, not October. The last time I saw him in October (with my own eyes in FL), he was dominant. I understand the concern for his performance at times this season, I just don't see the correlation to the playoffs.

Of course. Two guys struggling all year get singles to beat us. Bad throw by Braun too. I still go back to the first single. Why was Davis playing there?? You don't mind getting beat by the big guys, but when the bottom of their order - two guys struggling mightily at the plate this year beat you it's frustrating to say the least.

We've certainly done everything in our power to not win this game. 4 errors and a botched rundown. We've essentially handed them at least 4 runs in this game - and another if Hamilton scores. You simply can't screw up a rundown like that.

Very good idea. Braun and Ramirez are always one bad sneeze away from injuring something. Bringing Gordon strengthens the lineup and allows you to rest guys like Braun and Ramirez.

Gennett facing Chapman should be funny. Get out of this inning now.

I would imagine that Segura will PH and if necessary, Falu would move to second base if it got to that point.

Well at least we kept it at one. Alright, bloop and a blast and let's go home winners. I'm positive I was at a game in the last year or two where Lucroy hit a 2 run walkoff bomb off of Chapman....

You are correct about Segura.

Man this one is disappointing. Come back from the 4 run hole, only to lose it in the 9th on a bloop single and a hit from a guy batting .240. Showed a lot of heart coming back, especially after the way we got into the hole.

That said, the way the Brewers played in this game, they deserved a loss. We basically handed them 4 runs, at least 3 with the Garza silliness. That really cost us the game. He actually pitched pretty well, but the two throwing errors just handed them all the runs. You just can't play that badly and expect to win. Not only the errors, but I also completely disagree with RR playing the infield in in the 5th inning. Could have made the difference between 1-2 runs and the 4 that they ultimately got.
