Many teams are struggling at the plate this year. I forget which, but one of the talking ESPN heads attributed it to the shift. I don't know that I buy that.

well looks like braun is heading to the DL again. Time to trade for a RF

Why because he looked horrible at the plate? So did a lot of other guys. are they going on the DL or maybe the pitching is just good

The pitching is not that good. Very bad approaches at the plate and braun only looks like this when he is hurt.

Not saying that there's no way he's hurt, but jeez, guys have bad games all the time. Only two runs have been scored by both teams combined tonight, so Braun's not the only one having an off night.

Also, he just said a day or two ago that he's feeling better than he's felt all year (of course, that doesn't mean it's impossible that he re-aggravated something).

Gameday says injury delay - any insight from those with the broadcast?

Mets' closer.

He tripped over his shoelace running to the mound and fell on his arm before getting to the mound. That was a quick in and out.

Robin Yount - “But what I'd really like to tell you is I never dreamed of being in the Hall of Fame. Standing here with all these great players was beyond any of my dreams.”
