I had no idea Dana Eveland was still in baseball much less on a major league roster.

Estrada just can't continue at this pace. Insane to keep rolling him out there giving up the home runs.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Also time to put a Gomez back at the lead off. No reason scooter needs to be up there getting the extra ABs.

Last year, Marco Estrada had a HR-rate of 1.82 HR/9 in 1st half (5.32 ERA) and 0.77 HR/9 (2.15 ERA) in 2nd half (per JP Breen on Twitter).

Not really concerned with 2013. That World Championship has already been awarded.

Any idea what the MLB record is for HR allowed per 9 over a season? This schmuck must be on pace to shatter it.

Get it that you don't like what the guy does on the mound. Is it necessary to repeatedly refer to him as a schmuck?

He's shown the ability to figure it out before.

Yeah, schmuck was about as mild as I could get and still comply with the posting rules.

Yeah, probably so.

That ump squeezed Estrada. His strike zone made less than zero sense. Pure garbage.

Now please, someone who actually isn't even watching the game but following pitches on some internet nonsense tell me that wasn't the case.

Fox Trax had almost all of the pitches barely outside, but outside. He consistently didn't call just off the corner but called the one that barely was on the corner. I have no problem with it and no excuses for Estrada. He did it to himself.
