Hopefully they'll smack him around and get another series win, on the road, against a divisional opponent. Get at it!

No Sunday lineup today?

Segura could probably use a day off sometime soon; it's been a while since he's hit anything hard into the outfield.

No game tomorrow. He can rest then. We are going for a series win!

Still don't get the Segura leading off thing, but whatever...

Going by the numbers it doesn't make a lot of sense but they're scoring a lot of runs lately so RR is not going to mess with it.

Not my ideal either.. I think Roenicke really wants Gomez hitting 4th though and then who is your other option? Especially in today's lineup...

Looked like Walker may have gotten in before the tag.

are they reviewing?

They're reviewing the play. Got the PIT broadcast living out here in PA. Their announcers wanted the call overturned. One of those where the tag was on the left knee, while the right foot may have hit the plate first. Plus the whole new plate blocking rule. Throw was perfect and beat Walker well. Call stood.

It looked like Walker may have gotten in, but I think they were reviewing whether or not Lucroy blocked the plate. Either way, Walker is out and it's the top of the 2nd.

And who is Gomez chirping at now?

Lots of called strikes today that don't appear to be strikes while watching the game. (I put zero weight on what Gameday or Pitch FX shows, as I think those products are worthless) But with the eye on tv, lots of called strikes. Huge zone seems to be a way to get those games from 2:58 to 2:30.
