We're not going to have 5 healty starters all year, so let's keep Nelson down in AAA ready to replace whoever gets hurt.

Wouldn't you rather have Nelson come up when one of our guys gets hurt rather than Fiers? Estrada's performance does not warrant being taken out of the rotation.

I timed the pause to try to catch the ball in front of the yellow. I did here, and drew a red square around the ball to show it in front of the yellow. This is the most conclusive proof I can produce that the 3 run homerun tonight by the Twins was a foul ball. If I didn't convince you from this picture, I won't be able to convince you.

Watching that ball I know it was in front of the foul pole. However, before I even came on here to see all the comments, I thought it went off the foul pole glancing off the side of it. I thought on the replays you could see it slightly change angles on the way it was flying.

My friend is sitting about two rows away and said he heard it hit the pole.

I'd feel a lot better if it hit. I think I'm more upset that they didn't even look at it. It's THAT close and it's THAT big of a turning point of the game and you're not even going to take a second look?

RR has a responsibility to at least come out and ask for a review and question it. It's disappointing that he didn't.

Yep, I have a friend even with first base and he said he could hear the clunk off the pole even where he is.

Edit: If he could hear it there they may have heard it in the dugout, or I'm sure some of the position players heard it.

Why can't RR let a pitcher throw an inning? Wooten throwing well probably gets the third out even against a lefty. Seems like RR burns through pitchers more than necessary. Especially in a tie game, let Wooten go two innings if he gets through one around 15 pitches.

It doesn't matter to me if it hit the pole or not. It's still A) the crew's job to look at a game-changing HR call that is that close down the line, and B) Roenicke's job not to sit on his rear on such a close play and just take the umpire's word for it. At least come out and ask them to take a closer look. Nothing to lose by asking.

You would think that something that was audible in the dugout certainly would have been able to be heard on the broadcast.

I don't understand this team. They take 2 out of 3 in St. Louis without Braun in the lineup, yet they can't beat the Twins at full strength? There's no reason why the Brewers shouldn't have taken at least 3 out of 4. I hope this series won't be the one that we look back on and say that it was the one that killed the season. Cardinals are playing poorly at the moment. Brewers need to take advantage of this and continue to build the lead. Can't be dropping games to bad teams.

This game is lost because Khris Davis wasn't in the lineup. Why would you not bat him 6th behind ARam's return? Then Reynolds, Weeks and lastly Overbay. The righty vs. Lefty situation? Come on! This is a stretch Milwaukee needs to win games. They're playing the weaker teams and StL is struggling. Really need to take advantage and increase the Division lead. It could have been 10games after this stretch of opponents below .500 record. Now that kind of lead you can give a day off here and there when you see players need them w/o question. Davis has had such a hot bat, to take that out of the lineup for matchup situation? And this in a game where you have a DH! Sigh why do managers do something that you and I could easilty spot as being wrong!

About Estrada, 3Run HR doesn't happen to often on him. Happened after an open the inning Walk which at 2.8BB/9 doesn't happen often. He went 6ip gave up just 4Runs. What's the problem here? What kind of line is Estrada supposed to put up? I know 7ip and 1ER right? no 2ER is better.

Nobody should have a problem with Estrada so long as Gallardo goes out there with 5IP 4-5ER starts. That's the pitcher who Nelson should replace first not Estrada. The Brewers are getting everything you expect from Estrada. That 3Run HR almost wasn't a HR. We'll give a run for that inning and it's 6ip 2ER if that ball ends up foul. Everything else Estrada has looks good in the stats just the HRs given up is a glaring problem. I just have more faith that HRs is something a little easier to see reduced vs. what Gallardo's struggles are.

And Nelson isn't a sure thing. Maybe to post Estrada/Gallardo's line for the season, but then where's the upgrade? Nobody here can honestly say Nelson will allow under a 3.5ERA being inserted in to the rotation the remainder of the season. Why ruin the potential value Gallardo/Estrada can give themselves for trade value any time from now through the offseason for a 3.6ERA maybe 6IP SP Nelson over the 4ERA approx 6ip Starters in Gallardo/Estrada?
