Without actually looking it up, I can't remember the last time Kintzler was able to actually finish an inning he started.

May 26th (two appearances ago) v. BAL. He got the third out in the 7th & worked a scoreless 8th.

Ah, there it is. I figured it probably wasn't as bad as my perception would lead me to believe.

He had a rough May, & it's certainly understandable for fans to be frustrated with him right now... he hasn't looked nearly as strong as he did earlier in the season (meaning by the eyeball & not the boxscore).

Kintzler deserves a spot on the roster, but he hasn't pitched well since returning from the DL. He's struggled a ton, yet despite that, RR moved him into the 8th inning role and refuses to move him. Don't get it. At least Wooten could come in and limit the damage.

I would be totally fine with all star selections being made by a combination of a panel of baseball managers, then the players vote, then the all star manager selections...and totally phase out the fan vote. if the all star game actually has w.s. implications, then at least the teams should be full of deserving players and not be determined based on whose fan base has the most email addresses.

Looks good! Such refined artistic touch on that heart.

Two infield hits in the inning, plus one for an RBI last inning. That's annoying. Wooten one out from his first career save and gets it yanked on that. Alright, come on Duke, let's not make this any more interesting.

Hey, I think there's a pitcher yet in the bullpen who hasn't been used tonight, just in case Ron was trying to use everybody.

When do we think we will see Gonzo? Is Wooten the odd man out? What happens once Henderson is ready to return?

Wooten would seem the most logical choice to go back down. Does Kintzler have any options left? I'm not sure, but he's been struggling somewhat lately.

not be determined based on whose fan base has the most email addresses.

Seen an article on a Giants board that talked about their fans using mailinator addresses a ton. I used it this year to see and it does work. You can put anything at all in front of @mailinator.com and it's an automatic email address. I put one@mailinator.com, voted, change the "one" to "two", vote again and so on. Mlb site even keeps your picks so you don't even reselect players. You can change a couple letters and go.

The article talked about like 4 Giants players finishing higher than they should have.

Hat tip to Roenicke for his bullpen management tonight for me, honestly. Gave Kintzler a shot to get his groove back with a fairly safe lead... pulled the plug before it was too late, & then played the matchup v. Mauer instead of sentimentally trying to let Wooten get his first MLB save. I'll take more of the proactive 'pen management, please, Ron.
