Another Davis walk, his May OPS is over .830, and almost identical to his entire major league career average at this point. Even for a LF that is a pretty good level of production in 2014.

I thought for certain Lucroy was safe; didn't even think it was close. With all these replays, it shows you how good the umps really are (for the most part). I'll admit there are a few umps out there who are just plain bad. CB Bucknor and Bob Davidson at the top of the list.

Looks like Braun is seeing the ball just fine. .909 OPS--when you consider what he's gone through with the thumb and oblique, he's doing pretty darned good.

 

When that oblique heals, he'll be jacking them into the stands again.
