2014-05-27 Orioles (Chen) at Brewers (Garza), 7:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 7-6, 10 innings, on Gallardo's walkoff 2B]

Garza was clearly gassed and losing it in the 6th inning. He probably shouldn't have been in at all in the 7th and he certainly shouldn't have stayed in after the trouble. Missed DP or not, he should have been out of the game.

Why is it the entire world can see it except for Ron?

Matt Garza is the biggest thief to hit Milwaukee since Bobby Simmons and Tim Thomas. What a useless POS.

Well, in fairness...the inning should have been over. And any competent manager would have taken him out of the game and not allowed him to give up a 3 run HR. But we have Ned Yost 2.0. RR has very clearly shown a new level of ineptness the last week and if we lose this one, that's 4 games I put almost squarely on his shoulders.

Wait, we just took one of the league leaders in home runs, Mark Reynolds, out of the game in exchange for Lyle Overbay?

Oh, Rickie.

That isn't on Rickie. Luc should have covered 1b. Obviously he is learning, but that is on him.

Throw was late even if Garza caught it, the first base ump gave the safe call before he seen the drop. Weeks bobble was an error IMO.

Give me a break. Garza was starting to give it up 2 innings before that bomb. He does this every single start in one form or another, at some point you have to trust your 50 million dollar man can make it through a start without imploding...really looking like a bunch of money pissed down the Suppan.

No, Overbay went to 1b and Luc went back behind the dish.

My bad, I just got here. I thought Reynolds was at first.

Not sure why he wasn't yanked after the 6th. This one really feels like a Yosting.

1) Garza's spot is/was due up in the bottom of the 7th

2) The Brewers only have 12 pitchers on the roster right now including Wang, so in reality they only have six reliable guys in the bullpen now.

This is not on RR. This is on Segura as Garza should have been out of the inning. Segura didn't need to hot-dog it; even if he only got the lead out at 2nd they would have had two out and a runner at 1st. Would've gotten out of the inning with a 12-pitch 7th.

Watched the beginning of the game at a restaurant, couldn't hear any sound. Can someone fill me in on who the girl was who threw the first pitch? Seen Gomez wave at her when he hit his HR, and they interviewed her during the game. I am assuming there is some back story?

Great! Now burning up Smith in a game where are losing! RR what are you doing!

So Will Smith's role is to only come in when the team is winning?

Would you prefer he use Smith to get that last out, and then have to watch Kinzler in a high leverage situation tomorrow? Smith should have been used when he first came out to the mound, but instead he brings him in when the lead is lost.

Are we now on the same page or do you have another question?

Just because I don't kiss butt and put these players on a pedestal doesn't mean I'm a d-bag. Garza is a d-bag anyways. Did you read about his exchange on twitter with Eric sogard's wife? Pssh yeah and I'm the d-bag here lol

Uh, as you clearly state, he WAS starting to give it up already. Why would you keep him in the game with 2 guys on, a tiring pitching losing command that's already thrown 105+ pitches? I'm pissed too but to blame this one entirely on Garza is silly. Segura made a poor throw. RR made an awful decision. Garza gave it up, yes, but if it's a trend as you very clearly seem to think it is for Garza to do this every start, then RR should know that and take him out of the game.

Come on Braun, let's put us back on top.
