Ron Roenicke meet Terry Bevington

Think Roenicke was the first to pull a pitcher with nobody in the pen warming up? Na. Terry Bevington (one time a Brewer minor league manager) did that with the White Sox back in the 90's. Of course Bevington became a standing joke in the Chicago media and was basically run out of town for being a bad manager overall but that incident was always a focal point. Mention Bevington's name to any Sox fan and their eyes roll. Of course Milwaukee media will rally behind Roenicke. If RR did that in a big market, he'd be toast.

I remember Bevington for getting in a fist fight with Phil Garner during a game.

That was a fun rivalry for a few years.
